Jesus’s invitation to his first disciples was, “come and see.” Echoing that call, we recognize the value to visit the border in order to see the dynamic, meet migrants, and hear their stories. While Del Camino Jesuit Border Ministries does not have a dedicated program for immersion trips, we are always willing to help support a group that wants to coordinate a visit.
If you belong to a parish or school that is interested in visiting the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas, we can help make recommendations for your itinerary and connect you with local organizations. Visiting groups are also welcome to accompany us in our ministry during their visit, when possible.
